It’s officially begun.
Burger Fest 2019 is underway and this year our determined competitors have come up with some of the wildest flavour combinations yet.
From the Donut Burger at Holy Smoke (two beef burger patties, two slices of melted cheese, smoked crispy bacon, crispy onions and house ‘Dirty’ sauce… all served between a pair of sweet glazed doughnuts) to the Six Stack Burger Challenge running throughout the week at Coqbull Limerick (devour six 8oz Bacon Bulls with fries and a Coqshake in 10.32 mins to beat the record), it’s going to be a week of belly-busting fun.
You up for our SIX STACK BURGER CHALLENGE in association with BURGERFEST @wearefstvlr running next week, devour six 8oz Bacon Bulls with fries & a Coqshake in 10.32 mins also check out our CANNONBULL & REAPER COQ Burgers for BurgerFest #burgerfest2019 #burgerchallenge #corkcity pic.twitter.com/5zuFUIySvy

Restaurants all over the country will be battling it out once again to be crowned ‘Best Burger in Ireland’ at the end of a sizzling seven-days.
With tantalising menu additions, tastings and demonstrations, the second annual festival, held in association with Ballymaloe Foods, will see entrants competing to take home the coveted Golden Burger trophy from last year’s winners, the delectable Son of a Bun on Cork’s MacCurtain Street.
In honor of the National burger festival, Son of a bun is going back to the 80’s. Enjoy ‘The Chipper’ and listen to some old school 80’s music all week. 28th – 3rd Jan. #Believethehype Fstvlr #fstvlr pic.twitter.com/J9QfROEt6q
