IT’S BACK: Ireland’s second annual Burger Festival is on the way

Cancel your plans, burger fans.

Ireland’s annual Burger Festival is back for 2019, with a week of belly-busting events, tastings and demonstrations confirmed for the first month of the year.

Kicking off on January 28th, 2019 and running until February 3rd, Burger Fest 2019, in association with Ballymaloe Foods is asking venues across Ireland to be creative and adventurous, celebrating everything burger-related all week long, inside your own venue!

Entrants in every town and village in Ireland will be competing to be named Ireland’s Best Burger, scooping the coveted Golden Burger trophy from last year’s winners, the delectable Son of a Bun on Cork’s MacCurtain Street.

Burger slingers nationwide will be hosting tasting nights, competitions and feature burger battles throughout the week and adding new and exciting burger special menus to entice new customers during the festival.

Burger Festival is run by FSTVLR, a team of experienced foodies with a proven track record in creating, establishing, promoting and managing festivals across Ireland.

Participation costs just €95 per venue, with each venue deciding how to celebrate their own burgers. Sign up here.
